What’s a girl to do when two alpha males; one sexy, virile werewolf and one ancient, powerfully potent vampire both have their eyes set on her? Alexa O’Brien has the benefit of being a kick butt combination of both werewolf and vampire, so she handles it. No sweat. Actually, with a lot of sweat, tears, and long hours wondering when the next fight between her lovers, Shaz, her wolf mate, and Arys, her vampire addiction will erupt. When her two males come to an odd compromise, she is relieved, yet waiting for the next shoe to drop.
I’m not always a fan of stories written in first person but I’m glad I stuck it out for The Wicked Kiss. Full of paranormal entities, a wide array of personalities, sex, blood, and violence; it touted some of my very favorite attributes for a good story. I give The Wicked Kiss four diamonds and look forward to digging in the archives for the first of the Alexa O’Brien series and waiting for the next.
