Worth Staying For is a serious and sensual suspense story. While you know who the bad guy is for most of the story the tension is still ever present and the anticipation is palpable. I enjoyed the fact that Jordan was a smart successful woman who still found herself in a dangerous situation, it was a very believable scenario and I had no trouble imagining the intelligent woman still finding herself in such a mess. Riley took me a little to warm up to but once he did ease past my resistance he burrowed down deep and I could not have asked for a greater match for the heroine of the story. The chemistry between the two was wonderful and the attraction between them was almost as taut as the criminal mystery. I enjoyed this story and look forward to seeing what else this author has to offer. If you are looking for a romantic suspense story without the over-the-top sex and violence you will definitely like this one.

In Matchmaker’s Match Willa Okati gives readers a different glimpse in to the mind of the devil himself and when you add in an angel and an ancient god this is a trio of strong men with overwhelming sexual appetites. I enjoyed how gritty the encounter between the Wanderer, Scratch and Loki was. The descriptions were awesome and I had no problem picturing the cluttered room. While I prefer my stories a little on the sweeter side I did enjoy the humor and twists of this tale.

A genie lamp plays a key roll in Lacey Savage’s Finders Keepers but it’s the genie himself who steals the show while the heroine steals his heart. Claudia and Xander complement each other so well that you cannot help but cheer on their relationship.

Rachel Bo creates a fabulous world in Long Tall Furry and it is a place I want to visit again and again. Sinna and Goss are two phenomenally developed characters, so strong on their own but unbelievable together. I love how easy it was to suspend my disbelieve and just fall right into the emotions of this story.

It is no secret that I love Dakota Cassidy, she writes with a charm and humor that makes me feel like I’m witnessing a great chick flick or having a fabulous conversation with a friend. In Chunkybuttfunky the heroine is a curvy gal (my favorite) who is looking for something different. Cadence and Collin have this fantastic chemistry and I love watching them dig themselves farther and farther in to a mess by lying to one another.

Paranormal Mates Society is an enjoyable collection of witty reads that any supernatural erotic fiction fan will enjoy.

I loved the play on our leading couple’s names, Marianne and Robert. Their interactions were entertaining as I love a little hostility between my hero and heroine. Robert is a sexy alpha male who Marianne isn’t too impressed with initially but he eventually wins her over with his charm and brawn. I myself have always had a soft spot for a handsome man with a Brooklyn accent and Robert is a keeper. As a fan of the series I’m glad I chose to read this one and I’m looking forward to reading many more.

I’m sorry to say I didn’t really have a good connection with Jody, she seemed a little arrogant to me, however the story idea itself and the setting made it an enjoyable read and almost convinced me I was judging the heroine a little too harshly.

Tony's Haven is a great read with a fantastic hero. Tony is just the right mixture of “too good to be true” and flawed man making him a near-perfect leading man. I wanted to hate him a little at the beginning of the book but his charm won me over long before it did Haven. Our heroine was easy to relate to and even though I really enjoyed her solid personality, I think I enjoyed her so-called flaws even more so. I loved the Sherman family and all of Tony and Haven’s coworkers as every character was well developed and added to the story. I will say I did find it frustrating that at a size 18 our heroine was considered so surprisingly big and I found it a sad commentary on the way society thinks but was so very happy to see that it really had no impact on Tony’s attraction to her. This author’s tone and style kept me highly entertained and I cannot wait to see what else she has to offer as I love reading stories that have me laughing out loud.

Thank goodness my very high expectations were met with this adventure. Penny Watson has a charming style I just can’t get enough of. Oskar is a bad boy who loves books so that makes him perfect in my eyes. Kiana is a likable heroine who I found easy to relate to. Watching the youngest Klaus hottie land his happily-ever-after was fantastic. I enjoyed witnessing Oskar and Kiana figure out their feelings for one another. The inclusion of some black magic and many laugh out loud moments makes this a lovely holiday fairy tale. I absolutely love the world Ms. Watson has created, in fact I wish I could move there myself. I hate the snow but I would be so willing to bear it for a chance to live in this magical place and meet the fabulous Klaus family. I cannot wait to see what the other brothers get up to. I look forward to making reading this and the first book a new holiday tradition. All I need is a big cup of hot chocolate and a copy of the Klaus brothers’ romances and my holiday is complete.

Savannah's Ghost Tale was a fantastic twist on a traditional ghost story. Cameron is a wonderful hero and I’m so glad he was able to deal with his needs as well as those of his spectral visitors. Savannah comes across as a very capable, strong and determined woman and it was interesting watching her being put into a situation where she was not in control. I love the scenes with her sister, there is something just so genuine about their interactions. The setting of this story is fabulous and almost takes on a life of its own, as if it were a main character. I actually want to book my vacation right now. I think those readers who enjoy watching ghost hunter shows will love this one and don’t worry about the phantoms, spirits and specters giving you chills as the scorching sex scene will warm you right up.

Gene and Simon are mind-boggling heroes, each on their own are fabulous enough for any woman. Having both of them is almost overwhelming. I enjoyed the friendship between these two men and discovering the bond they shared that seemed to grow stronger as their relationship with Beth develops. The additional characters in this story add to the atmosphere and meeting all the interesting species this author has brought to life was amazing. I cannot wait to see them make appearances in upcoming stories. I am looking forward to reading Beth’s roommates’ stories as well. I love Eve Langlais’ tone and humor and this was one of my favorites of hers.

A Demon’s Lure is a fantastic break from a busy day! Kara and Davien are wonderfully complex and developed characters which is very refreshing in a short story. I never felt I had to compromise at all because of the length of this story. The world building was spellbinding and I found myself caught up in the magical mystical world that existed outside of the hotel room. Just when I think the mysterious Madame Eve cannot surprise me anymore she does. I am a romantic and heart and when I see two lonely people find comfort with one another in truly makes me happy and that is what this story did for me. I witnessed two people take a chance, take that leap and it left me with a smile on my face. I believe this is one of those stories I just might read again to capture that happiness whenever needed.

Humans are for eating and I am not one to play with my food, so I’m baffled as to why one geeky mortal doctor makes me wish our kind could be together without my brand of love being toxic. As if suffering from human emotions isn’t problem enough, our world is about to engage in a war where our chances of survival are slim at best. And no one wants to listen.
But, I didn’t become the general of the vampire Queen’s army by being diplomatic. Everyone will fight in the upcoming battle, or they’ll feed my troops and me. Either way, all things living will do their part.
I am, after all, the Blood Countess: toxic lover to humans, vicious bitch to my enemies, and my word is law.

Toxic was not quite what I was expecting and I’m not sure if I should love Eve Langlais because of that or rant at her. The story was another stellar offering from the author and I am a huge fan of her humor and tone. The woman has a wonderful talent when she creates characters and this book was not a disappointment. What did bring me to near tears was the abrupt ending, I wanted to throw a fit an all-out tantrum because I want more and I want it now. Ellie has to be one of my all-time favorite heroines; she is blunt and uncompromising and yet still manages to be very likable in an “I wish I was as confident as her” kind of way. Rafe is fantastic. I love me a sexy nerd and this leading man not only has the brain and brawn he knows how to work both attributes. The setting is engaging and the supporting cast including the villains add to the entertainment. I cannot wait to read the next adventure that this couple experiences.

Blake is malcontent with the season and humans in general until Bethany and her niece and nephew burrow their way into his disgruntled heart. Experiencing his interactions with the children and his reviving joy through them is such a treat. I loved how well developed every character introduced was and Blake’s neighbor is someone I hope to see make a reappearance in upcoming adventures. This story left me feeling that holiday miracles definitely can come true and that even our bleakest moments can lead to a lifetime of happiness.

Tavian is an enigmatic hunk of a magical man and his powerful presence unsettles the seemingly serene leading lady. Malaya is a complex heroine and while she usually has an unruffled façade her sexy visitor has the unique ability to fluster her. Once again we get to visit the town of Crystal Falls and we also get to visit May’s past. This was another remarkable Holiday Magic Series story and I cannot wait for the next adventure. This author always provides me with an exceptional experience, I love her whimsical tone and this tale did not let me down.

Midsummer Night’s Steve was another fabulous Holiday Magic Series story. Zoe is one of the sweetest heroines I have ever come across and her child-like belief in magic is infectious. Too bad Halloween has just passed as I think her outfit might have made a wonderful costume. Steve borders on the obnoxious until you delve into his past and personality and then his determination is almost admirable. Once again the setting is a fabulous one as this little town is full of fascinating inhabitants. It was nice catching up with some characters I’d already met and it made me eager to acquaint myself with those I’d yet to. This author has a solid spot on the top of my must-read list and this short story helps to cement it.

Etta’s world is about to spin out of control when she encounters her new roommate—and Rahovart, that ancient trickster, is in for a few surprises too. So don’t mind all the crashing and rumbling; that’s just the normal noise Angels and Demons make when they’re fighting an epic war in the attic.

One thing’s for sure: Etta and Rahovart will have to go through Hell to Heaven and back again before that old Victorian home in Quantico Town finally quiets down…

The Demon side is a fantastic beginning to a new series. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a copy because I was interviewing the author. The story at times is sadly intense and Etta is an amazing heroine. She is strong and sweet, damaged and delightful and I cannot wait to see how this young woman is going to grow in the coming adventures. Rahovart is a truly complex hero with his multifaceted personality that seems to fascinate and surprise himself as much as it does the readers. I found this to be a raw read that left me wanting more. The emotions in this piece are so intense, entertaining and left me hypersensitive in a good way. The lead characters secure a deep connection with each other and I quickly became invested in the outcome of their interactions. The supporting cast was just as well developed and I cannot wait to read the follow up to this story.
