I enjoyed meeting Gareth and Damien. The two make a great couple; each man getting just what he needs from the other. Gareth is a good Dom and he understands what Damien needs and is more than willing to give it to him. Damien gives with all of his heart and only wants to please Gareth. Seeing their attraction quickly turn to more made for a nice read. As much as I liked these two men I would have liked them to be a little more fleshed out and maybe see a bit more of how they interact together. They are hot together and make you want to know and see more of the two men. More of their time in the club would have also been nice. What we see of the men only wets our appetite and had this reader longing for more.

These two men prove that you never know where or when you might find that one person who is right for you and when you do you had better not let them slip away. Gareth is not about to let Damien get away without letting him know how he feels first. It was nice to see Gareth take that step and show Damien how much he means to him. Both men endeared themselves to this reader and I hope that we get to visit their world again.

She has been through hell and came out stronger and wiser. The two make a great couple and I enjoyed seeing the two meet and find their way through things. Garrett is patient and understanding, wanting only to gain Sage’s trust not pushing her to only obey him as they play. The two are good together and they seem to be made for one another. Sage’s past and pain may have brought her to Club Fantasy but it also brought her to the man she has been looking for all this time.

When Dillon gets another chance to win Charissa’s heart he jumps at it. He knows the attraction that they feel for each other is so much more than fleeting but can he convince Charissa of that? Something has scared her off and he intends to find out what it is and banish it forever.

Dillon and Charissa are a great couple. I loved Dillon right from the start. He is not afraid to go after what he wants and right now that is Charissa. Dillon will do anything to break down the walls Charissa has erected around herself. Charissa is a sweet girl who found herself in a bad relationship and is now afraid to try again. It was nice to see how much Dillon really cares for Charissa; he fights till the end never giving up on her or their love. 

As hot as this book was it also has a nice romance to it. I enjoyed watching Charissa wrestle with her emotions and her wants. The sex is hot but you see the connection and the trust as well. I loved the scene where Charissa finally gives Dillon her utmost trust. The emotions truly come flying off the pages in that scene. The author does a wonderful job of pulling the reader into their world. 

Not only did I get to meet Dillon and Charissa but some secondary characters made an impression as well. I hope we get to visit the ranch again some time soon.

 This book brings us a hot retelling of a childhood fairytale. Jovie has been evading her coworker’s roaming hands for what seems like forever and now he has tricked their boss into thinking the impossible. Who in their right minds would actually think a woman could transform paper into gold bars but that is exactly what has happened. Jovie is locked in a conference room and threatened with not only her job but her reputation as well.

 Just like the fairy tales that we grew up with this one brings us a romance and a story of evil versus good. Yet this story contains so much more in the romance department. I loved Rand, he is a great man who has spent centuries locked away by a curse and when he is finally able to be release he must make a hard choice. Seeing the relationship build between Rand and Jovie was a nice read.  As with all fairy tales the characters must make a life altering choice to save their true love.

If you enjoy fairy tales and romance this story is one that should not be missed.

Eliza Gayle does it again. This second book in the Pleasure playground series is a wonderful read. This time we meet Daegan and Jennifer. Both have pain in their pasts that they must deal with before they can move forward and enjoy each other but when that past comes calling it may just be the end before they even begin.

I don’t know whom I loved more Daegan or Jennifer? Daegan is a strong Dom who is ready and willing to fight for what he wants and what he wants is Jennifer. Jennifer is a strong woman who has always had to stand on her own and must learn to trust and rely on others. Not only does she find herself a great man but she also finds that she has some great friends that care deeply for her. I loved watching Jennifer blossom. With the help of Daegan she finds the place she always longed to be in. The two make a beautiful couple. Each finds what they need in the other and love grows quickly.  I also enjoyed the glimpses we get of Eve and her men in this story.  This is a great book in a wonderful series and I hope that we get to visit this world again.

  I enjoyed this quick and fast paced read. Zoe is a great woman. I just love her sense of humor. Her quick wit had me laughing out loud at times. As we watch her brave the unknown we meet her date Sinnon. I have to agree with Zoe that he certainly is something else. The sparks ignite between the two right from the start and quickly turn into flames. I loved seeing their relationship develop into more. The two make a wonderful couple.

 The author does a great job of bringing the reader along on Zoe’s adventure, making this book not only a hot read but a fun one as well. My only complaint is that this book was to short. I would have loved to see more from Zoe and Sinnon, they are both wonderful characters and had me enthralled throughout their story.

This book is the first in the Pact of Seduction series. In this story we meet a group of women who make a pact to live out their fantasies. We meet Marley and Reed in this book. Marley’s fantasy is the first to be enjoyed and she wants to try her hand at BDSM. Marley soon finds herself in Reed’s capable hands but is their love meant to be or is it too much to ask?

 While I enjoyed the idea of the pact that the women made, I found it hard to connect with Reed and Marley. They lacked emotion and made this a flat read for me. Their sex is hot and flows well but the spark that they share doesn’t come to life for me. I really liked Reed and Marley and would have liked a bit more depth and emotions from them outside of the club without sex being the main objective.

 Although this story was not a favorite of mine I have read and enjoyed other books by this author and will be looking for more in the future.

  In this book we get to see more of Katrina and Braydon. While Braydon must go and deal with his family issues Katrina stays behind and soon begins building her walls back up. With Braydon gone for so long and no communication from him, Katrina’s old insecurities act up. Can Braydon break down her barriers again or has his time away hurt their relationship beyond repair? 

 

  As we watch Katrina come into her own we also see her old fears pop up. I loved seeing her begin to blossom, she really is a strong woman no matter what she thinks. Braydon knows how strong Katrina really is and he plans to be the man to show her just how brave and smart she really is. The love that Katrina and Braydon share is deep and strong. Katrina needs Braydon to help her see the love that surrounds her and he needs Katrina just as much. As hot as the sex was the love the two shares outshines everything.

 

  I really enjoyed seeing into the lives of Braydon and Katrina. The bond that they formed in the previous book is put to the test in this one. Add in Ulfric and Braydon’s family and you have a great cast of characters. This was a wonderful look into Katrina and Braydon’s world. Not only do we get to learn more about them  but we also get to learn more about other characters and meet new ones.  I hope that we get to see more from this world in the future.

These three wonderful authors have done it again. Not only are they great authors in their own right but together they make a great team. Each of these stories is a good read but together they are fantastic. Each story has a strong plot and characters that are so full of emotions and depth as well as sex appeal. You can practically see the steam rising off of the pages. This is definitely a must read. If you enjoyed the first book you will be thoroughly pleased with this one as well. I loved watching each relationship in this book begin and take shape.

 

  In the first story we meet Master Trevor and Shelby. As Master Trevor teaches Shelby we see their feelings begin to ignite. Neither he nor Shelby is ready for the bond that forms between them, but hopefully love will win.  I loved seeing the hard Dom find his match. Shelby may not have a lot of experience but she wants to try for more and she wants to please Trevor. The two make a wonderful couple.

 

  Next comes the story of Holly and her men. Tex and Hunter have longed for this day, as has Holly. The three finally find themselves at a crossroads either take the plunge or continue to live in pain. I really liked the way these three learned to lean on each other for support. Holly is a strong woman who finds that her heart belongs to both men and she is ready to take what she wants.

 

  Summer and Virgil’s story comes next. After a painful and frightening experience Summer has vowed to only play at the club, to never be alone with a Dom again. Yet something about Virgil calls to her. As the two begin to play they find themselves falling for each other but there is much to overcome on both sides.  I loved watching Virgil begin to become the Dom that he is. He is a good man who needs to stop fighting himself. The love he feels for Summer is evident in everything he does and maybe their love will help them both get over their fears. I loved seeing many of the characters from other books by this author in this story. It was nice to see and revisit them again.

 

  Each of these stories was a good read on its own but together they make a wonderful read. Every story intertwines with the others. We see the characters from the other stories in each story making the book flow nicely. I have to say that Master Xavier has once again caught my eye. I hope that one day we get to see his story told. This is a marvelous continuation of this series and I hope that we get to see more from Dark Haven.

Two wonderful authors have come together to give readers a new and different take on fairy tales as only they know how.

 

 In Commanded to Mate we find Sierra and Terek who must join together to fight a common enemy. The two are from different species and must come together to prove their loyalties and to save their people. Only they can begin to make things right but lies and hate may be their undoing. Can Sierra find it in herself to love Terek when it is all said and done?

 

I enjoyed this story. Not only is this story a hot read but we get a wonderful romance as well. Sierra is a strong woman full of fight. She loves with all her heart and will do anything for those that she loves. Terek is an honorable man who finds himself in a situation that he has no control over but he will do whatever it takes to make Sierra happy even if it means letting her go. Watching their relationship begin to turn to love was a nice read. The two make a formidable couple, so in love and ready to defend each other no matter what.

 

Bitter Gold brings us the story of Liese and Stillskin. Sold into slavery Stillskin plots for the day he will be free. On his visits out for his masters he makes a friend: Liese.  The two begin a simple friendship but Liese has begun to have feelings for Stillskin and wishes to help him. That is until she is taken to be made a slave and addict herself. Once he realizes she is in trouble Stillskin tries to figure a way out for them both. Can Liese trust him enough to get them out of the horrible place?

 

Readers will quickly recognize the fairytale that this story is based on. I loved Liese and her love for Stillskin. He may be a slave but he is still a strong man who continues to fight. Seeing the love that these two begin to have for each other was a great read.  Liese and Stillskin will fight for their love no matter what. Showing us that love can conquer all if we let it.

 

These are not the fairy tales that we grew up on as children. They are so much more.  If you love your romance stories with an edge to them than these are for you. I loved visiting these worlds and hope to find more tales like these two from Jennifer Leeland and Mima. I cannot wait to get lost in the worlds that they make again.

  In this third book of the MacCoinnich Time Travel Trilogy we get to see Fin and Elizabeth’s relationship take shape as well as the final showdown between the evil Grainna and the family. Elizabeth is tested hard and Fin is there at her side always ready to help. Can the two find their way to each other and stop fighting before it is too late?

 

  I have been a fan of this series since the first book. This maybe the last book in the trilogy but it was just as engrossing as the first one. Fin and Elizabeth are both strong people and each is a fighter in their own way. Elizabeth may not be a sword-carrying warrior but she will fight for those that she loves no matter what. Fin is just as loyal and fierce. Before long the two forge a beautiful bond that is stronger than either realizes and that no one can break. I enjoyed watching Elizabeth find not only herself but also love in this book. The banter between her and Fin makes for a great read.  He is a great man who finds himself in love and fights for Elizabeth’s heart as well as her life.

 

  Not only do we get to see Fin and Elizabeth’s relationship bloom but we also get to see many other storylines in this book. Simon is still a major character in this story. I was glad to see that he still figures into the story and is not pushed aside. The family is still fighting the evil that is Grainna and the romance of Fin and Elizabeth is intertwined with this storyline. Neither is separate nor ignored.

 

  Catherine Bybee does a wonderful job of pulling the reader into her world and immersing them into the magical world of time travel and druids. I truly enjoyed this book and hope that maybe sometime in the future the author will bring us back to this world of magic and love.

In this book we get to meet four different women who are thrown together because of divorce. Maddie, Vicki, Katy and Maxie all come from different worlds yet find a special bond together from the first divorce support meeting that they have together. In this book we get to see each woman find her true soul mate. Seeing each of the woman and their men begin to bond and find love was a great read.

 

I loved seeing each woman’s transformation as they build their friendship. Maddie opens up and finds herself again after regaining her courage and self esteem. Victoria realizes what her ex and their marriage did to her and she finally lets go. Katy finds out just what she did wrong in the past and decides to fix it becoming a better person for it and Maxie becomes a stronger woman after the fight for her life that also brings her a wonderful savior.

 

I loved all of the men each of them adore their women and want nothing more than to keep them safe and happy. I enjoyed every story in this book. It is fast paced and keeps the reader interested all the way to the end. I truly adored Kellen and Kale. While each man is great these two really endeared themselves to me. Kellen and his love of karaoke was hilarious. He seems to love it even more than the women do. 

 

How many of us have wished that we could fix our lives and find love? This author does a wonderful job of showing us four great women who have done just that. This is a book that should not be missed.
