This is a wonderful and very emotional book about a woman dealing with the death of her husband and Dom and the bringing up of her two daughters. Polly loved her husband dearly but always had a soft spot for David and when he comes to help her deal with her loss she is reminded just how much she loved him as well.
This is the first book that I have read that deals with both BDSM and the family/children aspect. I enjoyed watching Polly and David’s relationship bloom. It was nice to see how they handled their own needs and the needs of the children. David makes a wonderful father to the children just as he makes a wonderful Dom for Polly.
Polly is taken on a roller coaster of emotions with all that happens in this book and she takes it all in and not only learns about David but herself as well. As their relationship progresses we see what a great couple that they make.
Stephanie Beck weaves a great story with characters full of depth and emotion making this a book that should not be missed. This story is about love and respect and throughout the book we see David and Polly show it not only to each other but to all their friends and family as well.
