This short story was a sweet read. Eli has decided to never settle down and tie himself to just one woman. That is until Saskia enters his life. Eli finds himself wanting more and more to be with her. Saskia is not immune to their attraction either. Hopefully they will be able to figure it all out before it is to late.

 

The instant attraction that Eli and Saskia have is a wonderful read. I really enjoyed Saskia she is a woman in charge and thinks she has no time for relationships yet she falls deeply for Eli. Eli is a man who loves with all his heart and when Saskia hurts him we see just what a stand up man he is. He loves her but will not smother her with something she does not want but the two cannot take their time to work things out. It seems Miles has found them and wants to put an end to things. Both Eli and Saskia endear themselves to the reader as we see just how far they will each go to save the other.

 

This is a great installment in Marisa Chenery’s werewolf series. Each and every hero and heroine in this series is a great character and I cannot wait to see them all find their mates. 

As with all of this author's other books, this one was not only a hot read but one that lets the love shine through.

When police officer Daylen Reardon comes across two men fighting in an alley with swords she never realizes that this chance encounter would change her life and Jager is stunned to see his mate show up while he is fighting a lone wolf who is working for Miles.

This book is another great installment in this series. I enjoyed watching the bond grow between Daylen and Jager. Daylen is a smart woman who can stand on her own. Jager is an alpha male through and through yet he yearns for a mate who can stand toe to toe with him.

As the two are trying to deal with their mating urges they must also deal with Miles the sworn enemy of Roxie and her protectors. Not only do we get to see Jager and Daylen we get to visit with many of the characters from the previous books. I could not get enough of the hilarious banter between everyone especially during the family meeting scene. Each and every one of these characters endears themselves to the readers.

Marisa Chenery weaves a wonderful story keeping the reader turning the pages wanting to see what comes next. I love that all the alphas whether they are men or woman have depth and make mistakes. Jager’s Mate is a well-written book that should not be missed.

Canada Day. It should be a fantastic weekend celebration camping with her grandmother, but Red not only finds herself lost on one of the very first days, she also finds herself chased by a wolf. When that wolf shape shifts into a hunky, gorgeous man, Red finds she’s more open to the unbelievable than she might have thought, especially when ‘unbelievable’ kisses so well. Rutgar knows Red is his mate the second he scents of her. The challenge is going to be getting the intelligent, sexy, sweet woman to accept not only him as a person, but also the part of himself that he shares with his wolf.

The Wolf in the Woods was a great story. It moved well and even though it was only thirty-two pages, Ms. Chenery used those pages to make interesting characters, a root-able romance building and some wicked hot sex scenes. Even if Canada Day holds no meaning to you, The Wolf in the Woods is one to add to the ‘to be read’ stack of hot summer reads for paranormal lovers.

I very much enjoyed this short story with its cast of interesting characters, the emotional issues both Lilin and Galen faced, and the determination of the heroine to get her man, the werewolf of her dreams.
