Marti is in a relationship with a married man when Christmas arrives. She believes he loves her and she loves him. But on a spur of the moment decision she heads instead to her family for the holiday but to a sunny tropical island. With a Christmas wish and a little holiday magic she finds the love she thought she already had.
I enjoyed this story immensely. I think Amber Polo did a really good job of making her heroine and hero real and believable. With just the right amount of holiday magic she created a wonderful story that really brought home the wonder of the holidays. I would recommend this as a great holiday short read for those who are busy planning and baking. It takes you right into the wondrous world that we want Christmas to be. Full of magic, wishes and Santa Claus, nothing can go wrong when those are mixed with romance.
