Ms Kennedy’s First book in her Blue Blood series a wild adventure, full of suspense, romance and enough sexual tension to heat up the planet. This book was enjoyable to read and I didn’t see the end coming.
My main issue with the book was the first chapter, having not read any of her other books I was lost and it didn’t make a lot of sense. I am sure for those who have read her other series there was no issues but for me I was confused, BUT after the first flash, which in my opinion could have been filtered in later if the author wanted it in, the book took off like a bullet.
Rynn and Briggs are already mated when the story begins and she has already been turned, so a great deal of back story is told through flash backs and told to us later. It allows us to deal with the Romance rather then the trauma of the event that changed her. I feel in love with Briggs immediately. WARNING AND POSSIBLE SPOILER… Rynn is the victim of a vicious rape so be forewarned if this is a subject that bothers you. Ms Kennedy handles it with respect and dignity.
