Anyone who says a princess the housekeeper’s daughter can’t be together haven’t met Chelsey and Daisy. Although they come from different worlds, these two share a heart. But when Daisy’s daddy, the exiled king, finds out, he drives Chelsey away, and the two are separated by years and oceans. Which changes the equation to: can a princess and a pirate be together?

I enjoyed this story. K.T. Grant’s characters are likeable people, who I would love to know. Their devotion to each other under circumstances which are difficult at the very least, is charming, and the reader will feel their pain when they are separated. The villain, who I shall allow the reader to meet for herself, is a very bad person, and the backdrop of kingdoms and pirate ships will makes for a fun read. The reader will root for these women to find a way to be together, against all odds.

Marcus isn’t necessarily the strongest werewolf in his pack, but through cunning and luck, he became alpha. His pack is animalistic, cruel and lives by the law of the strongest survives. Within that mindset, the tender male attention that he craves is unacceptable, so he spends moments with other males in secret to maintain his status. Jack is a yuppie human, on his way up in the world. From humble beginnings, he fought the social stigmas and became a man of means and reputation. But all that changes when he hits a wolf with his car. A mauling brings changes in Jack and not just his sight and food preferences. He sees a man, feels that man and wants him. Marcus and Jack finally meet, man-to-man and the lust explodes, but will Marcus jeopardize his place in the pack for Jack and can Jack ever accept what it means to be a werewolf?

Pack of Lies, for the most part, is a harder story. Told from alternating first point of views from Jack and Marcus, the reader gets very different views on what is happening and then has to put them together, which is no hardship as the plot flows very well. The sex is hot, frequent and varied, which is nice. The big downfall I felt in the story was in Marcus’ viewpoint. There were times when it felt very feminine, even distractingly so, which I felt didn’t fit his character. But all in all, a good m/m story featuring the not so cuddly side of werewolf paranormal romance. Definitely worth picking up when a reader wants something different.

Eleven stories by eleven different authors yet each story revolves around the same theme. The theme of lasting love ranging from married to gay couples and those in between. Everybody is searching and finding love sometimes in the most unexpected places.

Some of the stories were a bit over the top for me but I did enjoy reading this book as a whole. My favorite of all the stories would have to be The First Brick by Roxanne Rhoads. This sweet story was about a married couple trying to find the love that they lost. Robert surprises Rox with a little Dominant/submision role-playing. Rox surprises herself with her reaction to the play. The two love each other enough to try and fight to regain their love making for a good read.

I enjoyed the continual theme of trust and love that was in this book. It was nice to see such devotion even though some of the relationships started out as plain lust they grew into love. This is a book filled with romance and a few unexpected surprises thrown in. If you enjoy a little kink in your romance than this book is for you.

Threesomes an Anthology is a wonderful collection of fantasy short stories to warm your nights and make you shiver with envy. It has everything “threesome.” There is a fun little story of two women finding a new relationship together with the help of a third “ghost” woman. Another story involves a woman finding unique happiness with a male friend and a man he hired from an escort service. There is a story of thee women on vacation together and taking their friendship further. There is even a story taking place at a mansion for a night of special partying between two women and a “gladiator” that sizzles. Next is a story involving two couples in the Caribbean for Rand R and sex. Then there is a story of three men and a woman, with two men in a relationship finding happiness once more. Or for those of you who enjoy stories about werewolves, there is a story of two male werewolves and a woman. Of course there should be a story involving swingers and there is, a story about a Halloween party for swingers. There is a story about a ménage-a-trois and revamping a partnering schedule. And there are two more shape-shifter stories: one involving a woman, a vampire and a werewolf and another with a woman and two more werevolves. All in all, a delicious treat of fantasies.
