This is a wonderful story of a woman getting a second chance at love and a man getting his first real chance at love. It’s not a sexually hot story, but a pleasantly sensual one of two people struggling not to fall in love.
Sarah Collins inherited a shared guardianship of her sister’s three kids, but she isn’t ready to be a parent. She has issues in her own life to deal with and yet she can’t just give full custody to a man well known as a playboy. His saying he is ready to settle down isn’t enough for her. He needs to prove it to her. But being around him too long…
Raif Manning isn’t happy about inheriting shared guardianship of his brother’s three kids with a woman who barely knows the kids, who hasn’t taken the time from her life to be around them. He loves his career as a photographer, but he loves the kids more. He’ll do whatever is necessary to love them and give them a good home. He wants full guardianship. He doesn’t want to become involved with the impossible woman who demands he prove his worthiness to care for the kids. But being around her too long…
The characters are beautifully drawn, their personal baggage believable, and their building romance heartwarming. Overall, an excellent read.
