The Sky People Trilogy Book 2
I am so disgusted that I didn’t read book 1 first and get the introduction to these two interesting characters. Reading this book, Book 2, is not dependent on having read the first one. But I will go back and read the first one, too, and I will read the next one as well. So, if you like series stories, this is an interesting one to follow.
Tristan and Jinsu are lovers from different worlds, different life experiences and yet they have found something special together. For a short story and the second in a series, the characters are well developed. They are facing difficult external conflict and the possible end to not only their relationship but also one of them may die. Their situation and obvious love for one another touched me.

Thanks for the very nice review! Though the first sentence nearly gave me heart failure! LOL
Like using the word 'digusted'? LOL There's nothing disgusting about their story. Yes the second can be read alone, but is not nearly as satisfying as reading the trilogy in sequence. Tristan and Jinsu's connection is what makes the story and that is explained in the first book. They are great stories either way.
