“For nearly a year, Emily Dawson has quietly dated two men, Nick Scott and William Drake--both smart, attractive and great in bed. Because they all work at the same law firm, her various needs are met at a moment’s notice. During an out-of-town business trip, the men put their heads together and discover their girlfriend has two boyfriends. But when Nick and William confront Emily about her refusal to commit to a relationship, an unusual compromise is reached--one that satisfies them all.”

This short little story packs a lot of punch, not just sexually but emotionally as well.  The Blurb is somewhat deceiving in making the reader believe all is peachy keen for all involved in this triangle, when in fact Nick has tons of issues about the whole thing. Issues he works out with the help of both William and Emily.  The characters in this story are real and believable. You feel for all three and understand completely why Emily doesn’t want to have to choose between either and wants them both. I would want them both. If you are looking for something to spice up your lunch break this will definitely do the trick.

Kimberly and her family have a not so secret secret. They’re witches. When Kimberly sees Rick, she feels the instant attraction all witches in their family feel when the find the one. When they run into each other at a bar, the feeling intensifies and Rick is just as drawn to the raven haired beauty. To know if he is truly the one though, Rick must pass the sex hex on Halloween night. Only if he passes the test will they know if they’re meant to be together forever.

I loved the title and cover, both drew me right in. I even enjoyed the premise of the story; unfortunately, the execution had some serious rough spots. I would have loved to know Rick better, but instead I think I learned more about his dumb friend. It’s the first of a series, so I know more details will emerge as time goes on, but not enough were divulged in this one. Ms. Greggs has enormous potential in the creativity department and it’s enough that I’d pick up the next in this series, with the hopes it is better…and that perhaps the pumpkin won’t be so abused.

Celia caught her husband Daniel in a compromising situation. Because of her rough past and difficulties with trust, she leaves and divorces him. On her own again, she’s unhappy and constantly remembers the man she loves, but who betrayed her. She goes to London, hoping the change of scenery will help her come to terms with what her life is now and what she no longer has. Daniel follows Celia. He loves her and intends to find a way to not only remind her of his love, but prove that they belong together.

Daniel is a short story that is mainly a memory of angsty past events and amorous encounters. There is certainly plenty of sex scenes, so if a reader is looking for those, Daniel will deliver. There wasn’t enough of a current plot to keep me interested, but those who enjoy flashbacks and melancholy might find something special in Celia and Daniel’s story.

A serial killer is on the loose and special agents Hadley Sloan and Chase Finley are called in to help. Hadley is a vampire and with Chase as her partner as well as secret lover and confidant, they have a good success rate for cases. Hadley’s world is rocked when her vampire husband, Kellen Boyd, returns to her life. She loves him, always has, but she loves Chase as well. Kellen is willing to share Hadley in the way of vampires, but that leaves Chase with a lot of thinking and learning to do, all while a woman’s life hangs in the balance.

Bless the Beauty is the first in a new series by Stacey Kennedy. It has a lot of the tried and true rules for vampires, but the familiarity with three interesting, engaging characters makes the story very nice. There were points of lagging because the vampire ‘rules’ and expectations did need to be established, but overall, Bless the Beauty is a great story and a wonderful start to what I’m sure will be a thrilling and sexy series.

Vic Braunson is not a natural born shopper, but he will do much to please his lover, including going to a mall. Matt diLorenzo lives for shopping, especially when he can entice his lover to go with him. But this particular shopping trip provides a quick little “hot” adventure for the two men. And then it takes a dangerous turn.

This was a very short story but it did give the reader a quick sexy scene between two obviously continuing characters. Be sure to watch for other Vic and Matt stories.

I’ve read a lot of books, fallen in love with a number of heroes, but none more than these three Warrior Vikings. This story has excellent characterization, plotting, and definitely lots of heat element.

Amy is an orphan in a destroyed world and is learning to survive in her government mandated job as a Soother to stressed out border soldiers. She is having trouble fitting in and making friends, even more so when she is picked by three of the biggest, baddest, most handsome Warriors to come to her Soothing Bar. She feels a thrill of excitement, certain something is about to change her life even more.

Swede, Dane and Nor are genetically engineered elite Viking Warriors. They aren’t supposed to have real feelings for anyone. They’re only supposed to police the Badlands and follow the government’s laws. But they make their own laws. And they do feel strongly about one particular woman, something which surprises them all. They must claim her for themselves and take her away with them, even if she resists. But their Amy is full of surprises, too.

My biggest complaint is that the story ended far too soon. I wanted more and more.

She took the familiar theme of two people who have loved each other for years but thought it was a forbidden love and spiced it up. Wonderful job!

Nita has loved Call forever it seems but she can’t have him for a number of reasons. That doesn’t keep her from fantasizing about him and the fantasies get hotter and hotter.

Calder “Call” has loved Nita for years but suffered through a number of broken relationships because he couldn’t allow himself to express his feelings for her. But now he’s having erotic fantasies about her. And now both of them are having hot fantasies about legendary lovers, past relatives of theirs.

This was a wonderfully crafted story with an interesting twist at the end. My only complaint was that it was a bit rough reading at the beginning. But that didn’t keep me from enjoying the story.

Jocelyn Grier is a doctor in the Earth world now controlled by Gathosians. As a female she would normally be forced into a life of degradation and sexual servitude, but she has been fortunate to avoid that for the most part. She now works with the Resistance and Codename Courtesan, a network of female spies that use a succubus brain wave modifier to avoid the actual physical act of having sex. She takes on a special assignment but doesn’t really know what to expect.

Evard Keenan is a Bartonese male and a famed Chemist relegated to slave labor at the hands of the Gathosians. For many humans he seems more myth than man. Some think he is the only hope for survival for the captive human race, but some think he may be a traitor. He needs the help of the Resistance to escape his tormentors, but can he trust the woman sent to give him much-needed pleasure?

The characters are well drawn and the reader will pull for both Jocelyn (Spring) and Evard from the moment introduced to them. The conflicts are many and the world beautifully created. As for the heat element…keep a fan handy.
