A new relationship can be confusing no matter what type. This was a very short story with a teasing glimpse into the struggling relationship between two men. One is more experienced in being gay. The other man is just discovering this side of himself. I think Steven’s internal thought, Being with Conrad frightened him and invigorated him and aroused him in a way that no woman ever had, summed up the young man’s confusion. Nicely done.
