Celia caught her husband Daniel in a compromising situation. Because of her rough past and difficulties with trust, she leaves and divorces him. On her own again, she’s unhappy and constantly remembers the man she loves, but who betrayed her. She goes to London, hoping the change of scenery will help her come to terms with what her life is now and what she no longer has. Daniel follows Celia. He loves her and intends to find a way to not only remind her of his love, but prove that they belong together.

Daniel is a short story that is mainly a memory of angsty past events and amorous encounters. There is certainly plenty of sex scenes, so if a reader is looking for those, Daniel will deliver. There wasn’t enough of a current plot to keep me interested, but those who enjoy flashbacks and melancholy might find something special in Celia and Daniel’s story.
