Wow! That is all I can say about this book. If I could give it more than a five I would. At first I wasn’t sure I was going to like the story, but I quickly found myself lost in the world of magic and love.

I couldn’t blame Phillip for not liking Aurora, I didn’t either. She was boring. Oh, how the author redeems her. Phillip is what we all want in a man, strong, kind, and loving. There isn’t anything he isn’t willing to do for his love. All the characters in this story draw the reader in and make them want to visit the world Lila Dubois created. The scenes are well written and though I was reading the book I felt as though I was watching a movie in my mind.

I feel lucky to have been the one to review this book. Though it is an erotic story sex was essential to the story plot and the Sleeping Beauty twist was amazing. All I can say is Great job Lila Dubois, great job.

A weekend away at the house of a high powered Dom was supposed to be the next step in their exploration of their Dominant/submissive relationship, but when their host convinces Roman to turn Savannah over to him for training, their love is stretched beyond the breaking point. Savannah, believing that Roman has given her away forever, flees, but not before suffering at the hands of the sadistic Dom. Roman knows nothing of what she’s suffered, and believes Savannah left him because of his desires. When they meet again five years later will the lies that separate them keep them apart, or will remembered love be enough to bring them back together?

I loved this story from the opening paragraph. The intense love Savannah and Roman had for each other was beautiful. Their mutual desire to please each other led them to experiment in the Lifestyle but one very wrong turn tore them apart. The healing Savannah had to go through and the suffering Roman endured when he loses her is heartbreaking but realistic. Not to be trite but in this case, love conquers all and I thought the ending perfectly fitting for the story. I don't often read books more than once, but this one will stay on my "bookshelf".
