Sometimes you can have a good marriage, a good life, but you get so caught up in your everyday world that the “magic” of romance and great sex disappears. When Nolie’s husband asks her one morning “Do you ever get bored with us?” she realizes just what a rut they’ve fallen into. They work hard, love one another, but sex has become an afterthought. Both are ready to try something a bit daring, something to spice up their marriage.
This was short story, but wonderfully written. It hits home with someone who has been married for a number of years, loves her husband, and yet misses the sensual, sexual sparks that once flew between them. The theme was that whole “second chance at love” idea which is always heartwarming to read. I particularly enjoyed Nolie’s thought that “She’d known she’d married a good man, but she hadn’t realized how far he would go for her.” Definitely an “Oh, that’s so sweet!” moment.

Kareena, what a rock'n book for "second chance" at hot, steamy sex with the man you love. I bet that would work with long relationships too, get the juices flowing again...wonderful!
